Antique Bowl AdzeMassive Bowl Adze

Good . . . . .  $150.00       SOLD

Stearns Flex Bottom Spoke ShaveStearns Flex Bottom Spoke Shave  This is an unusual design for a spoke shave.  It has a flexible steel plate in the back.  It is a hard to find shave from the king of the shave makers Sterns.  They must have had 20-30 different forms shapes and sizes, and this is the most unusual.

Good . . . . .  $145.00       SOLD

Antique Handrail ShaveStair Makers Handrail Shave  This piece is unmarked as to maker but it is very nicely done.  The body is cast brass and the cutters well made and sharp.  I assume it would be used for the final scraping of stair rail from the shape and form.

Exc.   ..... $125.00     SOLD!

Windsor BeaderWindsor Beader  This version of the Windsor Beadier is the last model produced and harder to find than the models above.  The condition is superb.  Having never seen one in an original box, I do not know what to make of this one, but there is a halo of sorts on the top where a label might have once been.  There are 3 double ended cutters included.  The nickel on one side of the head is near mint, and shows some wear on the other.  The handles are minty nice.

Good . . . . .  $395.00       SOLD

Windsor Beader3 Windsor Beaders  These are later versions.  As can be seen they could be had w/ different cutters.  All are nice, and all are marked.

Good . . . . .  $175.00 / Choice       ALL SOLD

Unusual 3 Wing Adjustable Hollow Auger    Judging from the super condition of this strange looking device, I would assume that the prospective user knew he was in trouble as soon as he attempted to adjust it for the first time.  It is certainly not up to the design or quality standards of say a Wood's, Swan, or many others by  manufacturers from this time period.,  These weird designs, and the resulting rarity because of the short production periods are what makes collecting so interesting and  fun.  This example retains nearly all of its original paint and appears to be in perfect operating condition, but I bet this one is better suited for the display, as it just does not seem like a substantial enough design to put up with much use or put out a quality product!.

Good . . . . .  $95.00       SOLD

2" Spoke Pointer  This 2" diameter pointer is a bit different from those normally seen in that the center chuck post is adjustable for height to control the depth.  The cutter is held with two screws and a special kind of washer to spread out the force and insure that it does not move or chatter in use.  I think it is made by Stearns.   It is nice!

Good . . . . .  $35.00       SOLD

Swan Folding Handle 8" Drawknife   There is some minor pitting and corrosion, but all in all a nice tool by a respected maker.  The blade back measures just under 1 1/2" so there is a lifetime of steel available.

Good . . . . .  $45.00       SOLD

Wilkinson Folding Handle 8" DrawknifeWilkinson Folding Handle 8" Drawknife   The best know, and most popular drawknife known or made.  The blade back measures just under 1 1/2" so there is a lifetime of steel available.

Good . . . . .  $45.00       SOLD

Carpenters AdzeCarpenter's Adze This is as nice as one could hope for.  No rust or pitting, Nice handle, and sharp.  The head has a nice stamp including that it is Cast Steel.

Good+ . . . . . $45.00       SOLD!

Folding Handle Drawknives3 Folding Handle Drawknives  These are all pretty nice.

On top is an 8" Oak Leaf from Simmons Hardware.  I think it was made for them by Wilkinson.  It is nice.

Next is an 8" Wilkinson.

On the bottom is a pretty hard to find "Perfect Handle" by H. D. Smith Drawknife.  The handles on this are bent up.  I do not know if this was factory, or modified by the owner to keep from scuffing his knuckles.  It seems to be a better idea and look good.

Top . . . . .  Good + . . . .  $65.00      SOLD!

Middle . . . . .  Good . . . . .  $75.00       SOLD!

Bottom . . . . .  Good . . . .  $85.00      SOLD!

Gruber
Goosewing AxeGruber Goosewing Axe  I do not know all the fine points of determining the maker or location for these tools.  The center touchmark clearly says Gruber.  To the left looks like a sun face, and on the right is a anchor with a 4 at the top.  Below the name is a mushroom, and a ?  It was bought in CA over 30 years ago if that helps.

Good . . . . .  $225.00       SOLD

Goosewing AxePrimitive Axe  I do not know all the fine points of determining the maker or location for these early axes.  It is highly decorated for an Axe.   It was bought in CA over 30 years ago if that helps.

Good + . . . . .  $295.00       SOLD

Primitive Goosewing Axe2 Primitive Goosewing Axes  These came from the collection and have been hanging in the rafters from long before Eatern Europe opened up and a lot of Goosewing type Axes started showing up  Both were bought in CA over 30 years ago.

Top . . . . .Good + . . . . .  $395.00       SOLD

Bottom . . . . .Good + . . . . .  $275.00       SOLD

Turpentine
Axe Turpentine Axe  These unusual crescent shaped axes were designed to cut a slash into the bark of trees so they would ooze sap for the making of turpentine.  The stamp says it us US made.

Good + . . . . .  $175.00       SOLD

Record 151 & 151R Spoke ShavesRecord 151 & 151R Spoke Shaves  These are knockoffs of the Stanley 151 and 151 R  Radius - round bottom spoke shave.  They look to have never been used.  They are made of malleable steels, so should be able to withstand a fall or two.    The Stanley Version of the radius bottom one can bring more than the pair of these.     Nice.

Fine . . . . . .  $70.00 / Pair       SOLD!

Ohio Tool Co. #65 Chamfer ShaveOhio Tool Co. #65 Chamfer Shave   This is a rare shave.  The Stanley version is tough to find, those by other outfits are near impossible.

#O65 . . . . . Good  . . . . ..  $SOLD!

Record Multi Plane CuttersRecord Multi Plane Cutters   I am not sure if these are a full set for something, or just extras the fellow bought to use in his 45/ 55.  They are marked record and look to have never been used.   nickel loss

Good . . . . . $40.00 / LOT       SOLD!
