Lie Nielsen #212 Scraper Plane
The #212 is a hard to find scraper plane by Stanley. It was
dropped from their line in the mid 30's and has been known to bring over $1000 on
the market today. I can remember when fly rod makers drove that market when that hobby took off with classes around the country.
That was years ago and there just
were not enough around and the prices rose even higher if you could find
one. Lie Nielsen introduced this plane many years ago, but by then the
common wisdom, and shear demand made the Stanley 9 1/2 block plane the new plane of choice
for many rod makers. Lie Nielsen still touts this plane as being well suited to
the task, and I am sure it is and works well for that or other applications!!

Lie Nielsen # 140 Skew Block Plane
Stanley stopped making its version of this skew block
plane back during WWII. Lie Nielsen reintroduced the basic idea with a
major improvement being the addition of the fence. Stanley's skew
block plane idea was
and is very popular w/ users, and this version by Lie nielsen w/ a fence should be equally as well received.

Lie Nielsen #95 (LH) Edge Plane
This is the left hand version of the Stanley #95 edge
plane produced by Lie Nielsen. Stanley just made one version, but Lie
Nielsen saw the wisdom in making one skew right and another left to double sales.
I am surprised Stanley did not think of that. The collector bought it as a collectible, and
I
doubt it ever saw a piece of wood. Included is a signed letter from the
president of Lie Nielsen describing all the features and fine points. NOS!

Falls # 07 Rabbit Block Plane (Stanley # 140) in Original
Box The japanning on this 07 / 140 block plane is near flawless
and the sole is bright and shiny. The throat is nice as well. The box
is nice. You will not be disappointed.
A tough plane to find in the box and in this condition.
