The one on the rights silver cap is done in such a way that the silver perfectly mimics the contours of the stag horn.  It must have taken a lot of extra work to create that effect.

Clough Patent Power Cone CorkscrewClough Patent Power Cone Corkscrew  This is a nice looking corkscrew.  Clough is most famous for his patents for a simple design screw.  This was an earlier patent issued on FEB. 22. 1897.  This style screw can be found with slight variations in the make-up and look of the cone.  Some are marked with the name Williamson.    Those with a Rosewood or ebony handle and the more sleek design of the cone like this one has would be the earliest of the models I believe.  I do not see any markings or patent info which I have read is typical, but there is no doubt about it being an early Clough patent.

Good + . . . . . . $395.00         SOLD!

Armstrong Patent Concertina Action CorkscrewArmstrong Patent Concertina Action Corkscrew  This is marked on both sides of the bar.  A bit rusty and dirty and most of the nickel plating is gone, but it is functional and will clean to be nicer.  Super design and form that will display nicely!!

antique corkscrewsThe Corkscrew Collection  Here is a collection / pile of corkscrews that I have acquired over the past few years.  Do not be misled, I put the good ones that I recognize near the top.  There may be a few sleepers in the middle, but I doubt it.   I hate seeing my stuff in boxes where I can not find it or see it.  All in all there are about 40 or so different ones here, and most of the better ones are at the edges near the front.

Good + . . . . SOLD!

Multi Harp Tool / Combo Tool HarpMulti Harp Tool / Combo Tool Harp  Versions of these combo tools have been around for about ever. The newest versions have Phillips head screwdrivers. Patented December 8th 1908 Cast Iron Can OpenerPatented December 8th 1908 Cast Iron Can Opener   Oscar Braconier was granted a patent for his "better" idea can opener in 1908. Oscar hailed from ILL. This is an unusual and hard to find cast iron can opener from the era when America was still producing quality pieces meant to last a lifetime and not cheap flimsy sheet metal trash that breaks down after a few uses.  A neat design.

Good +  . . . . . . $75.00         SOLD!!
