Stanley # 15 Block Plane This Stanley No. 15 block plane is in very nice overall condition. Basically a 9 1/2 that is an inch longer at 7" long.. An uncommon plane that will be a great user or is nice enough for the collection.

Stanley # 15 Excelsior Body Block Plane This looks to be all proper and in nicer condition than usually found.

Stanley # 15 Block Plane This Stanley No. 15 block plane is in good overall condition. Basically a 9 1/2 that is an inch longer at 7" long. Favored by many because of the extra inch weight and feel. This example has seen some use but is still good. An uncommon plane that will be a great user.

Stanley # 16 Block Plane The Stanley 16 Block Plane is the same as a 9 1/2 but w/ nickel trim. Some losses to the nickel, but the overall condition is very nice. Only the lateral and cutter are marked Stanley and the cap has patent dates, but the body is not marked.

Stanley # 15 Block Plane The # 15 is just like the Stanley 9 1/2 but 1" longer. Cleaned and ready to be put back into service.

Stanley # 15 7" Block Plane The Stanley # 15 is the same design as the 9 1/2 and 1" longer. This is a very nice example. Nice!!

Stanley No. 18 Block Plane This is a pretty nice looking plane. The Stanley # 18 block plane is the same as the 9 1/2 but with a knuckle joint cap.

Overall condition is great with a nice even patina and 90% or better original japanning. The V logo on the long cutter would date it from the teens making it over 100 years old. The throat area is nice. No issues. Nice enough for the collection, or a good user!!.

Stanley # 17 Block Plane The Stanley # 17 block plane is the same as the 9 1/2 but an inch longer at 7". Overall condition is great with a nice even patina and 90% or better original japanning. The cutter may be a later replacement. Not sure. Very nice, and getting hard to find.

Stanley # A 18 Block Plane Stanley made these planes during the mid 20's after Aluminum became a plentiful and cheap material to use. They are cute, lighter than their cast iron counterparts, and certainly harder to find as they were only made for about 10 years or so. It was a poor choice of material, and they never really caught on with the buying consumer. The scratched easily, and they sometimes develop a rusting / rot This one has some light scratches in the sole and a few surface black spots that will clean. A pretty nice example.

Stanley # 18 Type 1 Knuckle Joint Cap Block Plane This type 1 # 18 block plane looks to be all proper. Tiny flea bite in the throat, the rest is good. Hard to find.

Stanley No. 18 Sweetheart Era Knuckle Joint Cap Block Plane The 18 is from the 9 1/2 series of block planes and the same as a 9 1/2 with the difference being the knuckle joint cap that some users prefer. This one is pre WWII and pretty nice. Good throat, long cutter, no rust or pitting, no issues. Nice!!

Stanley # A 18 Aluminum Block Plane Stanley offered their entire line of Aluminum planes for less than 15 years and production ended in the mid to late 30s for all the different size Aluminum planes they made. They offered the A 18 for only 10 years 1925 - 1935. The aluminum was very soft prone to scratch. This example is pretty clean & nice!! To fill out the collection, iron models are much better users.

Stanley # 18 1/4 Block Plane Stanley offered this block plane for just 6 years between 1952 and 1958. It is a hard plane to find. It is basically a cross between a 9 1/4 w/o an adjustable front piece and a #18 with its knuckle joint cap. The number 18 1/4 is stamped on the side. The condition is very nice. All proper and ready for the collection or use.

Stanley # 18 1/4 Block Plane Stanley offered this block plane for just 6 years between 1952 and 1958. It is a hard plane to find. It is basically a cross a #18 with its knuckle joint cap and a 9 1/4 w/o an adjustable front piece. The number 18 1/4 is stamped on the side. The condition is very nice. There is a paint drip inside the body that will clean if desired. All proper and ready for the collection or use.

Stanley # 60 1/2 Low Angle Block Plane This is a post WWII era plane. This plane is virtually unused and a fine example. Ready to go back to work.

Stanley # 65 Low Angle Block Plane Given the blue finish this low angle No. 65 block plane dates from the 1960s. Marked 65 on the side of the body. This No. 65 block plane saw little if any use. It is near mint. No issues. Very very nice! It has the style iron cap preferred by many users over the knuckle joint cap typically seen. It will make for a fine user!

Stanley # 60 Block Plane This # 60 Low Angle Stanley block plane is 6" long. It is in very nice condition The throat is nice. The nickel on the cap is near perfect. It is in collector condition or will make a fine user. These low angle planes are especially suited for cross or end grain work and a favorite with all users.

Stanley # 65 Low Angle Block Plane The # 65 is a very popular plane with users. They work well in all situations and are especially handy with end grain and cross grain. This example looks to have seen little or no use.

Stanley # 65 Low Angle Block Plane This plane is stamped # 65 on the side. It is a later Low Angle Stanley block plane that is about 7" long. It is in very nice condition The paint is original, and the plating fine. The throat is nice. These low angle planes are especially suited for cross or end grain work. It will make a fine user for general work, or such tasks as fly rod making as well. A favorite with all users.

Stanley # 65 Block Plane A pretty nice looking example of Stanleys most popular low angle block plane. Good throat, long cutter, and no rust or pitting to speak of.

Stanley # 65 Low Angle Block Plane This Stanley No. 65 block plane is in nice overall condition. The knuckle joint cap has some losses and light rust. The plane is otherwise very nice. Lots of original japanning, no rust or pitting, good throat, no cracks, nice cutter, etc. It dates from around the teens given the T cutter logo. It will be a great user.

Stanley # 95 Edge Trimming Block Plane These are an interesting plane that Stanley first introduced back in 1911. They are useful for their intended purpose of cleaning rabbits and squaring up the edge of boards. A nice plane in exceptional condition.

2 Stanley #100 1/2 Round Bottom Tailed Block Plane Both are in excellent condition. No issues or problems. Used by patternmakers and model makers. Stanley started using the red cap in 1940, and stopped making this model plane all together in the early 1960's. Nice!!!

Stanley # 100 1/2 Round Bottom Tailed Block Plane Called a model maker or instrument maker plane. No damage and Nice!!

#101 Size Block Plane Cutter is unmarked. There are no markings on the plane body. Similar to a Stanley # 101 block plane with a different blade cap. No damage and Nice!!

Stanley Type 2 # 110 Block Plane Faint but proper cutter stamp. Front knob replaced? No damage and Nice!!

Stanley Type 2 #110 Block Plane w/ Shoe Buckle Cap The 110 block plane was first offered in 1875. The first model had slightly different side rail profiles. This is a type 2 and was only offered for a year or so before Stanley made major changes to the design doing away with the Shoe Buckle cap. The collectors tag stuck inside the body of this indicates he bought it from Roger Smith back in the 70's. That is over 40 years ago.

The condition is very nice. The shoe buckle cap is damage free. The front knob is so nice I am guessing it might be a replacement, but do not know. A hard to find early and rare block plane in very nice condition.

Stanley No. 110 Type 2b Block Plane This Stanley No. 110 is a type 2 dating from 1875 -1876 only. It is damage free and the shoe buckle cap is nice. The cutter rests on two ribs that run front to back. This is a genuinely rare plane and it is in fine original condition. This early and unusual Stanley block plane has no apologies. A beautiful example for the collection.

Stanley Rule & Level Co. No. 131 Double End Block Plane This Stanley Rule & Level Co. # 131 Double End Block Plane in nice condition. It has been re-japanned with a baked on enamel and looks good. The adjuster is good. No issues, no apologies. A nice example.

Stanley # 131 Double End Block Plane The upgraded version of the more common 130. The 131 has a blade adjuster. This example has an apology. A side rail crack that is tight and will not affect use. It has been figured into the price. Otherwise very nice. Yoke is good, Sweetheart cutter, good cap and knob.

Stanley # 140 Skew Rabbet Block Plane Nice. Looks like one screw holding the removable side plate is a replacement. Good long cutter.

Stanley No. 140 Skew Rabbet Block Plane The side comes off to make it a rabbet plane. A versatile plane that is a favorite w/ users. This example dates from after the turn of the century. Some nickel loss. Overall very nice condition.

Stanley # 140 Skew Rabbet Block Plane Nice. An earlier version w/ cast blade adjuster knob and fine grooves in cutter. Good cutter. Most all of the original japanning. A couple initials cut into one side, and the previous owner put some wire on the front knob to keep it from cracking / splitting. I see no cracks or splits looking at the bottom of it. No issues or real apologies. Nice!

Stanley 203 Block Plane The 203 was a popular pocket block plane in its day. They were introduced in the teens and were still offered into the 60s. This one is pre WWII and pretty nice.

Stanley Two Tone OH20 Block Plane Here is one you do not see very often, and certainly not in this condition. It is like new. Just imagine how appealing it looked to the "New" prospective customer Stanley was aiming for right after the war with those bright colors.

Stanley Four Square Block Plane This style with the 4 Square blade cap, and cutter adjuster is the hardest to find Four Square Block plane. It dates from the 1920s -1930s. Not on the same level quality wise as earlier versions, but a sight better than the stuff they peddle today. Nice!
